systems for microscopy since 1962. We provide advanced products all the
way from some of our original durable units such as the 180 and 170-D

Fiber-Lite Illuminators for Machine Vision
Since
1962 Dolan-Jenner has grown as one of the leading manufacturers of
machine vision illumination. We serve industries such as packaging,
material handling, automotive, printing, food, metals, and
semiconductors. The Machine vision product line can be applied to almost
any application with its versatility to apply varying options such as
regulated voltage, dual light sources, high output and consistent
durability.
Diffused on Axis Illumination
The FLD
(Fiber-Lite Diffuse) optical assemblies provide wide angle, on-axis,
diffused illumination housed in factory hardened, industrial rugged
packaging. The FLD’s unique design allows the camera to view the object
perpendicularly through the unit. As a result, highly reflective objects
with uneven surfaces can reflect light to the camera from every point on
their surface, eliminating glint and shadows. The AI optical assemblies
provide more uniform, diffuse illumination than most lighting methods.

Gooseneck Light
Guides
Dolan-Jenner’s Gooseneck light guides are self supporting, durable
and adjustable. Gooseneck light guides provide light in the area
where needed without additional stands or accessories. Gooseneck
light guides come in both single and bifurcated configurations.
Gooseneck light guides are available in multiple sizes and are also
available in custom configurations.

Fiber
Optic Ring Lights
Dolan-Jenner’s ringlights provide intense
shadow-free on –axis lighting and are especially useful when imaging
highly reflective objects. All Dolan-Jenner ringlights provide 360
degrees of high intensity fiber optic illumination and feature
industrial grade anodized aluminum or molded plastic housings. Glass
fibers are sheathed in highly flexible PVC-covered steel monocoil or
stainless steel armored jacket. To further reduce specular
reflections from shiny surfaces, ringlights can be used in
combination with a polarizer and analyzer. Custom sizes are
available up to 12”

Flexible Light Guides

Line
Lights
Dolan-Jenner provides a long line of fiber optic line lights.
The line light design allows the structuring of light from a
round light source into a line output configuration. Line-lights
are extremely efficient in distributing extremely high levels of
cold light and are easily used with Dolan-Jenner quartz halogen
or strobe source. Fibers are randomized at input to provide a
more uniform output of light. Line lights are available with
material housings from metal to molds. Custom designs also
available.

Back Lights
Back lighting is a machine vision lighting method which
provides a high contrast silhouette of a part or part segment.
Made with durable glass fiber optics, Dolan-Jenner backlights
can be used with our Strobe-Optic strobe or any Fiber-Lite
quartz halogen illuminators. The backlights are available in
many different sizes and lengths and can also be customized to
your individual use.

Single Fiber Optic Light Guides
Dolan-Jenner standard light guides are made from .55N.A
borosilica glass fibers with standard end tips that will easily
adapt to Dolan-Jenner’s Fiber-Lite Illuminators. They are
covered with a standard PVC covered mono-coil sheathing and have
temperature ratings of -40 to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. They are
available in varying lengths and diameters to suit your specific

Dual Branch Bifurcated Fiber Optic Light
Guides
Dolan-Jenner
bifurcated light guides are made from .55N.A borosilica glass
fibers with standard end tips that will easily adapt to Dolan-Jenner’s
Fiber-Lite Illuminators. They are covered with a standard PVC
covered mono-coil sheathing and have temperature ratings of -40
to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. They are available in varying lengths
and diameters to suit your specific needs. If you are unable to

Quartz Light
Guides
Dolan-Jenner’s Quartz fiber optic light guides are available
in both plastic cladded and quartz cladded fibers. Dolan-Jenners
Quartz light guides provide higher temperature resistance up to
347 degrees farenheit. They are available in varying lengths and
diameters with varying sheathing materials to better suit your
