E8 & EX8 Type, Dual Fiber Optic Cable, 1/8" (3.17mm) Randomized Fiber Bundle

Originally these split (bifurcated) cables were designed to be used as scanners with emitters and detectors, but now these dual branch light guides has expanded into many more applications. The cable configuration is 2 legs, 7" long, and the balance of the length in the common randomized section. Randomizing or mixing the fibers helps create a uniform output by blending the fibers of each leg together in the common section.
